RIFLE. Cal. 303 Brit. S# 19L9693. Bbl. 25 1/2". Blade front sight. Aperture rear sight graduated to 1300yds. Bolt & forend have matching numbers but appear to be arsenal renumbered. Left side of the receiver has Long Branch markings, a 1942 date, and the "RB 12/46" marking. Arsenal blue finish. Walnut stock with transverse screw in forend and bottom-mounted sling swivel. Left rear of the butt has a circle with "3" in the center. Right side of the butt has post-independence Indian marks. MAGS: 1-10 rd., matching numbered to rifle. CONDITION: stock has an arsenal rework finish with scattered dings, scratches, and handling wear. Metal retains 70% arsenal rework blue & black enamel finishes with scattered fading and edge wear.
