This lot of 10 is all inert and safe and from Jim Geibel collection includes 1) Total of Six. Item Description: Metal cylindrical bodied pressure firing device Type Designator/Model: M1A1. Color: Olive green. Manufacturer: Unknown Country of Origin: United States. Long Description: A rounded body with a flat base and two flanges to nail/screw the firing device to hold it in place. One end is threaded to accept a base coupling or detonator. A plunger is located on top and has a safety clip that is removed once it is emplaced. A second safety in the form of a pin is located near the detonator end. This is also removed on emplacement. When stepped on, the small pressure plate is pushed down releasing a cocked striker. Item Description: Cylindrical bodied pull release firing device. 2) Total of 4. Type Designator/Model: M3. Color: Olive green with yellow markings Manufacturer: Unknown. Country of Origin: United States. Long Description: The metal body has a threaded opening on one end to accept a base coupling or detonator. On the other end is a pulley-like device used to attach a trip wire. 3) Total of 1: Item Description: Cylindrical bodied pressure switch on a rectangular base. Type Designator/Model: No. 2 Mark II
Color: Green Manufacturer: Unknown. Country of Origin: Great Britain. Long Description: This is an early pressure switch with a fired base coupling attached. There are no markings present. There is slight rust on both sides of the rectangular plate. Jim Geibel notes say this is very rare.
