PIN, RED CROSS MEDAL, & MORE. This lot contains items of questionable authenticity that may be of post-WWII manufacture. We encourage interested parties to examine items in this lot closely and in person, if possible. Preview times are available upon request. 1) RED CROSS. An example of a WWII-style German 1st Class Neck Cross of the Red Cross Honor Badge. Badge features a white cross with a central black enamel eagle grasping a wreath and party symbol. The eagle has a white shield on its chest bearing a small enamel red cross. The reverse is marked "CHR. BAUER WELZHEIM". (02-22563/BF). 2) PUTSCH BOX. A WWII-style German presentation case for the 1923 Munich Putsch Medal. Case has a dark wine-colored leather covering with gold embossing that reads " * 8. / 9. November 1923 * ". The interior of the box has a cream-colored felt-like base with a stained top pad. (02-22567/BF). 3) PARTY PIN. A smaller-sized gold WWII-style German party pin. The front features a central black party symbol surrounded by a red enamel band that reads "NATIONAL-SOZIALISTISCHE – D.A.P. – ". The enamel pin is surrounded by a gold-plated border with a foliate motif. The back of the badge is marked "JOS. FUESS MUNCHEN" & "1519". (02-22531-2/BF). 4) AUXILIARY CRUISER. A scarce WWII-style German Auxiliary Cruiser War Badge. Badge features an oak leaf wreath with an eagle and party symbol at the top. The central design of the badge features a Viking ship sailing around the globe. The reverse has a narrow, horizontal pin and a stability pin at the top. Badge is unmarked. (02-22592/BF). 5) HIGH SEAS. A WWII-style German High Seas Fleet Badge. Badge features an oak leaf wreath with an eagle and party symbol at the top. The central design has a head-on view of a battleship at sea. The reverse has a vertical, wide pin and is marked "FEC. ADOLF BOCK AUSF.SCHWERIN.BERLIN". (02-22592/BF). 6) STICKPINS. Two stickpins depicting WWII-style German High Seas Fleet Badges. Both pins are knurled. (02-22592/BF). 7) STICKPINS. Two stickpins depicting WWII-style German Auxiliary Cruiser Badges. Both pins are knurled. (02-22592/BF). CONDITION: Red Cross award and party pin show light wear. Putsch box shows moderate wear with some loss of gilding to the embossing. Badges show light to moderate wear with some oxidation. $300-500.
