British WWI era military revolver features 6" slab sided barrel, 6 shot cylinder, break top style opening for loading and unloading, double/single action operation, fixed sights, square butt grip with checkered black hard rubber grips, lanyard ring on butt. Bore is very good. Cylinder charge holes are very good condition. Retains 90% dull blued finish, with edge losses & handling marks, small patches of patina in several areas. Grips are good condition, missing chip from right panel at heel, marked "M" both sides on lower edge. Action operates smoothly with good lock-up. British proof marks are observed on the barrel and over every charge hole on the cylinder. Other markings include "BNP 455 760" on left side below barrel, broad arrows and crossed pennants in several places, WEBLEY/Mark VI/PATENTS" over "1917" on the frame, "MARK VI" on top strap. Includes a good condition UK military type gray color cotton web holster with cleaning rod & lanyard.
