Serbian Wild Boar - Hunting in Serbia has a long and storied history, deeply intertwined with the country's cultural and economic fabric. Historically, hunting was essential for survival, providing food and resources for communities. It was also a symbol of status and power, often reserved for the nobility. In modern times, hunting remains a popular pastime for many Serbians, with a strong emphasis on tradition and respect for nature. It is regulated by the Hunting Federation of Serbia, which oversees hunting licenses, quotas, and conservation efforts. While hunting continues to be a source of sustenance and recreation, it is increasingly recognized as a valuable tool for wildlife management and ecological balance.
This sojourn is a six night, three hunting day, and two tour day trip for two hunters or one hunter and one observer for the Serbian Wild Boar. Hunting for the Wild boar is done from blinds, small driving hunts and on foot. Optimal dates are in November - February, 2025 or 2026. A bewildering array of hunt and tour upgrades are available.
