AUSTRALIA HUNT FOR BUFFALO COW AND PIG for (2) Hunters for (6) Days from Wildest International Safaris in Arnhem Land, Australia.
VALUE: $7,960.00

EACH HUNTER HAS TO HUNT A BUFFALO BULL TROPHY
COST OF BULL IS USD $10,900 PER HUNTER

The hunting grounds are dissected by the headwaters of the Mann and Wilton Rivers which give life to these vast concessions. Feeding these main rivers all year long are springs which flow out of escarpments dotted across the concessions into creeks. It is at the bottom of these escarpments amongst the many gently rolling hills, valleys and creeks that the old mature bulls roam and feed. Back along the river there are many substantial floodplains and grasslands that the buffalo feed through on their way to the river for water each day. The rivers are small, shallow and sandy rivers lined with native gum and fig trees making for a picturesque setting wherever one might stop along the river.

This type of Hunt is a dangerous game safari for Water Buffalo in Central Arnhem Land, Northern Territory Australia. Whilst on safari wild oxen/scrub bulls, wild boar, donkey and cow buffalo can also be hunted. Totaling over 1 million acres of free-range pure wilderness. Darwin the capital of the Northern Territory is where we will pick up from, either from the airport or your chosen accommodations. Hunting camps are around 7-8 hours drive from the Airport in Darwin. Our season runs from Late May through to October. Typically known in the Northern Territory as the dry season which comes after the wet monsoonal summer. By mid September the weather starts to get quiet extreme with hot and humid days. However it is still a great time to hunt buffalo as they come out of the valleys onto more permanent water sources. The hunting is purely spot and stalk hunting. Whether it's by foot or by vehicle we are searching for mature bulls and then making a plan for a well-executed stalk. The hunter can expect to see between 300-400 buffalo a day. The concessions buffalo numbers are extremely healthy due to the remoteness of the location, prime habitat and our management of the game.

Our safaris are suitable for all hunters of all fitness levels and ages. For the older or less fit individual we utilize our modern and well maintained ATVs to access remote valleys, water sources and river flood plains. This allows us to place our hunters right in the action. From their it is a matter of spotting mature bulls and then conducting a quiet stalk into shooting range. Very little physical effort is required to hunt buffalo this way. For the hunter who is fit and loves a true challenge on foot we have over a million acres with many superb hunting areas that can only be accessed on foot. These clients could expect to walk anywhere from 10-25 km in day in search of big bulls in remote valleys.
