Winchester 1876 40-65 Cal Rifle. Serial # 59682
This is an Original Winchester 1876, however it has a bad case of the Bubba Tinkerer. Several pieces have been chrome plated, the octagon barrel has been over polished and has rounded edges. The woodwork has been over sanded. Metalwork has been re-blued. Missing the dust cover.
This rifle is not past restoration, it still has potential. It has the original sights and many valued parts. The chrome plating on the buttplate, sideplates, hammer and forend cap can be stripped and finish restored. The barrel can be draw-filed to sharpen the edges.
All used Firearms should be Inspected by a Competent Gunsmith before firing.
