Used Winchester 1886 Rifle in 33 Win caliber. Serial #145012A. This rifle has the standard 24" tapered barrel with the ramp front sight and a rear flat top open sight. The bore is dark and frosty, but prominent rifling. The barrel retains approximately 85% of the bluing, but is fading in some areas. This rifle has both a strong half and full cock position. The receiver and the buttplate have a nice brown patina. This rifle varies from the normal 33 caliber rifle in that it has a crescent buttplate. The wood has some original varnish and has dents and scratches.
All used firearms should be inspected by a competent gunsmith before firing.
