Used Winchester 1892 Octagon Barrel Take Down Rifle in 44-40 Caliber. Serial #857992. This is a 24" Octagon Barrel with a full length magazine. It has a Sheard Blade front sight as well as a rear 3 leaf express sight. It has a very bright shiny bore with prominent rifling. This rifle has 90-95% bluing on the barrel and magazine tube. The Receiver and the buttplate are faded to a grey brown patina. The forend and buttsock have NO cracks.
Overall this is in very good condition.
All used firearms should be inspected by a competent gunsmith before firing.
