‘Special Order’ Vintage lever action repeating rifle chambered in .25-35 Winchester. Manufactured in New Haven, CT circa 1906. Features a blued finish, 26" half-octagonal barrel, full-length tube magazine, dovetailed front sight w/ German silver blade & set screw, Marble’s elevation adjustable rear sporting sight, smooth curved trigger, knurled hammer spur, case hardened finger lever, smooth walnut forearm with metal cap, and straight grip shoulder stock with curved steel buttplate & 13” LOP. The barrel & magazine tube retain approximately 85-95% of their original blued finish and are sharp/crisp. The frame retains approximately 50-70% of its original blued finish showing thinning at the edges & bottom with some light scratches. The hammer and lever show generous traces of case hardening. The action is tight, the bore is bright, the markings are well defined and the walnut stocks are very good with excellent wood-to-metal fit & just minor wear to varnish with light marks & scratches. A solid 8 on 1-10 scale.
*Note: A couple marks that are minor on top of barrel forward of octagon.
