Used Winchester Custom 1892 Saddle Ring Carbine 44-40 Caliber. Serial #349836. This 92 SRC has a stock from a Commemorative Rifle. The wood is extra fancy walnut with wrap around checkering on the forearm. There are gaps in the stock along the upper tang. See Photos. The metalwork is original except for the buttplate. The 18" barrel has a post front sight and a Marbles folding rear sight. The bore has good rifling, however its dark with light pitting through out. There is a number 9 stamped on the bottom of the receiver.
This little rifle would make a great shooter for "Cowboy Shoots" and the stock will get lots of admiration from others.
All used firearms should be checked by a competent gunsmith before firing.d
