Used Winchester Model 1886 Rifle in 45-70. Serial #82789. This is an original 1886 with a 30" round barrel and full length magazine. Has a strong half and full cock hammer positions. The bore is dark with some frosting and prominent rifling. This should be a good shooter. The bluing has faded to a grey patina. Mechanically its in good condition. The stocks are have NO cracks, but do have dents and scratches. See Photos. Has the standard front sight with an 1886 marked rear ladder sight. Looks to be a good honest 1886.
Used firearms should be inspected by a competent gunsmith before firing.
