#130383. The rifle is in nearly excellent overall condition as re-finished. The 26” half octagon barrel and full-length magazine retain nearly all of an old, quality re-finish. The consigner notes the work was done by Roger’s Restorations. The receiver also retains nearly all of its re-finished blue while the hammer and lever are beautifully case hardened. The smooth wood stocks are in very good condition with nice figure in the butt stock and the crescent steel butt plate has been nicely case hardened as well. The bore is good, the action is crisp and the markings are sharp on this nicely re-finished 1886 in a desirable combination of features and caliber. Est.: $1,500-$3,000. (C+R).
