Caliber .22 Short, 24& #34; Octagonal Barrel, SN: 843990. Winchester Model 1890 Tube Fed Rifle. This rifle features filigree engraving throughout. The barrel is engraved on the tip and on all sides with gold inlay bands and around the front & amp; rear sights. The receiver is filled with filigree on all sides including the trigger guard and tang with gold inlay framed around each section. It features a gold rabbit in stride on the left side and the Initials & #34;RSB& #34; on the right. The crescent butt plate is also filled with filigree and gold inlay framing. All engraving was done by Jeff Flannery. Stock has been refinished at some point.
***Finish is excellent with the exception of a few very minor specs of surface rust on the rear of the barrel and feed tube connection band. Stock has a few light scratches with one small deeper scratch at the lower left side and one small ding on the upper spine. Barrel is clean & amp; bright with nice rifling for age. Overall in Very Good Condition***
