short caliber with a 24” octagon barrel in early production range showing desirable case hardened takedown frame with crescent butt, S/N 47215 and made about 1895. Approximately 75%-85% original blue remains on the barrel and magazine tube drifting at the high points and edges with slight erosion and minor pinprick pitting just starting in a few small areas. The left side of the frame shows 65%-75% case colors with pleasing blue, purple, and brown colors. The right shows 20%-30% going to a grayish patina with some toning and aging. The bottom of the frame shows patina and minor pitting in front of the trigger guard. The stocks are very good plus with 70%-80% varnish and just minor storage marks. Great markings and sharp edges. The bolt shows 0.8 blue and some scratchy cleaning. The action is crisp and the bore is at least good and may clean well. Very desirable and a 7.5 on a 42379 scale. (Antique) Est.: $1250-$2500

Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Registration and Regulations apply and must be strictly followed.
