Nearly 100 years ago a sheep herder in Logan Canyon named Frank Clark trapped and killed a notorious Grizzly bear that roamed the mountains from Soda Springs Idaho to Morgan Utah. This Grizzly, known as Old Ephraim or 3 toes, spent several years decimating sheep, cattle and wildlife, because this bear was so devastating on livestock, many herdsmen refused to graze on the Cache National Forest East of Logan, Utah. As the 100 Year Anniversary approaches, Mark Thompson Owner of Thompson Long Range has been working with Winchester for the last 3 years to produce and deliver a limited build of 100, anniversary, 25-35 lever action rifles. He has generously donated to SFW, rifle #5 of 100
