Winchester Model 1894 saddle ring carbine, .30 WCF cal., serial #618049. The carbine is in overall good condition with a 20” blued, round barrel featuring a blade front and folding leaf rear sight. The barrel and magazine tube retain asignificant amount of original blue while the receiver has gone primarily to a silver-grey patina with light surface rust and erosion noted. The carbine retains its saddle ring. The smooth gum wood stocks are in good condition withsignificant bruising and compressions and an old hand carved representation of a 10 point buck on the right side of the butt stock. The butt stock ends with a crescent metal butt plate which is slightly proud at the toe. The bore is very good, the action crisp and markings legible on this fine, old 94. (C+R) Est.: $600-$1,200.
