'No 3 Mk 1w' British military magazine fed bolt action service rifle chambered in .303 British, manufactured in the United States circa 1914-1916. Features a blued finish, 26" barrel, protected blade front sight, receiver mounted flip-up ladder style aperture sight graduated to 1,600 yards, intact volley sights, metal forend cap/barrel band with bayonet lug no piling swivel, serrated trigger, internal 6 round box magazine, manual safety on the right side of the receiver, bent bolt handle, charge loading guide cuts in the receiver, correct green web sling, smooth wood handguard, forend and semi pistol grip shoulder stock, brass disc removed. & trapdoor metal buttplate. Serial numbers match on the receiver and bolt handle. The stock is marked IR*"(inside a circle)/”broad arrow" The receiver is marked with British military proofs. Rifle retains approximately 90% of its blue finish with minor scratches, handling/edge wear, barrel , and receiver slightly turning a plum color. Action is smooth, the bore appears very good/bright, and the wood stocks are very good with very minor scratches/dents. No visible import marks.
