Terms and Conditions:
1. Online Bidders must complete an online registration for approval. A credit card must be provided with the CVV security code for the registered Credit Card. Winning bidder will be charged $100 in addition to the bid amount in lieu of not purchasing a banquet ticket
2. THIS IS AN AUCTION WITH RESERVE. Successful bids must meet or exceed any applicable reserve amount to win the item. The highest bidder’s credit card on file will be charged the full amount of each successful bid (meeting the established reserve) and the bidder will be sent an email acknowledgement at the conclusion of the bidding.
BIDDER AGREES THAT HE OR SHE WILL, WITHIN 15 MINUTES OF RECEIPT OF SAID ACKNOWLEDGMENT, REPLY BY EMAIL OR PHONE CONFIRMATION OF THE BID AND AMOUNT. IF TELEPHONE CONFIRMATION IS NOT RECEIVED WITHIN THE DESIGNATED TIME FRAME, THE ITEM MAY BE RE-PLACED FOR AUCTION.
3. Online Bidders agree not to use any device, software or routine to interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of any transaction being conducted during the online auction.
4. Lake Superior Chapter of Safari Club International reserves the right, for any reason, in its sole discretion, to terminate, change or suspend any aspect of the online auction.
5. If Bidder(s) becomes dissatisfied with the online auction in any way, Bidder’s only recourse is to immediately discontinue use of the online auction before items have been purchased.
6. Lake Superior Chapter of Safari Club International reserves the right to terminate Bidder registration and use of the online auction, and impose limits on certain features of the online auction or restrict Bidder access to, or use of, part of or the entire online auction without notice or penalty.
7. ALL ITEMS SOLD THROUGH LAKE SUPERIOR CHAPTER OF SAFARI CLUB INTERNATIONAL ARE RECEIVED FROM THIRD PARTY VENDORS.
8. ALL SERVICES, HUNTS OR OTHERWISE, HAVE BEEN ACQUIRED FOR AND ARE TO BE FURNISHED BY THIRD PARTIES AND CONTAIN THE SAME RESERVATION SET FORTH UNDER “GOODS” ABOVE. THE SERVICES ARE SOLD “AS IS” WITH ALL FAULTS AND DEFECTS, AND WITHOUT ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY ON THE PART OF LSSCI. LSSCI MAKES NO WARRANTIES OF FITNESS OR MERCHANTABILITY, AND EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS THE SAME. NO SERVICES ARE TO BE OR WILL BE PERFORMED BY LSSCI. LSSCI SHALL BEAR NO RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE DELIVERY OR QUALITY OF ANY OF THE SERVICES OR FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO OR CONNECTED WITH THE PERFORMANCE OR NON-PERFORMANCE OF SUCH SERVICES. THE HIGH BIDDER FURTHER ACKNOWLEDGES THAT IN THE EVENT SERVICES ARE PURCHASED, LSSCI CANNOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR OR LIABLE FOR ANY POLITICAL UNREST OR INSTABILITY THAT MAY OCCUR OUTSIDE THE CONFINES OF THE UNITED STATES, NOR CAN LSSCI BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR ANY INJURIES OR DAMAGES THAT MAY ARISE THEREFROM. THE HIGH BIDDER FURTHER ACKNOWLEDGES THAT HIS/HER PURCHASE IS FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE UNDER ANY AND ALL CIRCUMSTANCES, AND THAT SHOULD LEGAL ACTION BE REQUIRED TO COLLECT FOR THE SERVICES OR MERCHANDISE ACQUIRED BY THE HIGH BIDDER AT THE AUCTION, LSSCI SHALL BE ENTITLED TO ALL REASONABLE ATTORNEY’S FEES, COST OF COURT AND INTEREST AS PROVIDED BY LAW.
9. LSSCI will not credit, refund, or bear any responsibility for any auction item for which the Donor and Buyer alter or vary the terms set forth for the item in this Catalog.
10. Bidder acknowledges that the online auction bidding is conducted electronically and relies on hardware and software that may malfunction without warning. Lake Superior Chapter of Safari Club International will not be responsible for error or failures to execute bids placed via the internet, including, without limitation, errors or failures caused by (i) a loss of connection on Lake Superior Chapter of Safari Club International's or Bidder's end (ii) a breakdown or problems with the online bidding software and /or (iii) a breakdown or problems with a Bidder's internet connection, computer or system. Lake Superior Chapter of Safari Club International does not accept liability for failure to execute any online bid or for errors or omissions in connection therewith.
11. Lake Superior Chapter of Safari Club International may void any sale, temporarily suspend bidding and re-sell any goods that were affected by any malfunction.
12. Lake Superior Chapter of Safari Club International reserves the right to terminate Bidder registration and use of the online auction of any particular Bidder without notice to said Bidder or penalty.
Silent Auction will be ending on Saturday April 11, 2015 at 7:30 PM EDT. Silent bids will be accepted online and at the auction location. The highest bidder will be contacted at the end of the auction.
