World War II print of The Flying Tigers. The framed and matted print depicts a flight of P-40C Tomahawk fighters from the Hell’s Angel Squadron of the American Volunteer Group of the Chinese Air Force. The piece is from the Bill Bettis Nieuport 17 Restaurant collection and is signed by Flying Tigers ace, R.T. Smith. Smith was the Flight Leader of the Third Pursuit Squadron, known as the Hell’s Angels Squadron. Smith was creditedwith downing 8.9 Japanese planes during his service with the AVG in China and Burma. Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Registration and Regulations apply and must be strictly followed.
