Description: This is a 9 Day (1 on 1) Spring Grizzly Bear Hunt to be taken with YBGO who operates in the largest guiding concession in Canada.Their guiding area holds a strong population of Mature Grizzly Bears and past hunters have harvested many old record book Mountain Grizzly’s of varying color phases. YBGO has a high success rate on Mature Grizzly Bears in the 7 to 8 foot range. YBGO guides are very experienced, long-term employee's that provide a great hunting opportunity. Shawn has owned this concession for 10 years and fly's his own super cub to support his guides and hunters during their hunt. Reach out to Shawn to see the bears he has been harvesting over the last 10 years and you will be impressed. These spring hunts are conducted out of a jet boat or by argo, both help in maximizing the hunter’s chances of success. Camps are warm comfortable cabins and wall tents.
Hunt includes: Guiding, lodging (main camp and remote spike camps), meals, trophy/meat care, transportation during the hunt and transportation of trophy to shipper.
In addition: The hunter will be allowed to harvest one Black Bear. Excellent success rate!
Not included: 5% GST tax, hotel in Whitehorse before/after hunt, Tag and License ($600), Gov’t harvest fee ($500), gratuities. Non-hunter welcome @ $4,000. Additional hunters welcome @ $29,900.00 Please contact Shawn for available dates between May 1st and June 22nd in 2024-25.
