Neil and Tara Cosco of Cosco Outfitting, have generously provided a great hunt for one hunter with two options on dates in 2018. The hunter can choose between either a boat hunt for September 22 – October 3, 2018, or an ATV hunt from October 4 – October 15, 2018. The ATV hunt is ideal for two hunters sharing the same camp but hunting separately. The second hunter on the ATV hunt would be at the reduced rate of $23,000 CDN, which includes GST. All the horse hunts in 2018 are sold, and most of the 2019 are also sold. Observers are $6000 CDN which also includes GST.
Cosco Outfitting is based in Whitehorse, Yukon, and guide in a vast area of five million acres of wilderness in the south-central Yukon, which includes the Cassiar and Pelly mountains. Moose in their area average in the 55–60” range with a legitimate tape measure that starts at 0”.
The trip is inclusive of when you leave Whitehorse until you return. This donation includes the return charter flight from Whitehorse to camp, hunting licenses for moose, grizzly, and caribou, food and guide. It also includes crating of the trophies, but not shipping to the hunter’s home.
The bidder will be responsible for flights into Whitehorse from their home, accommodation and meals in Whitehorse both before and after the hunt, any taxidermy and shipping the trophies from Whitehorse, and gratuities. The trophy fee for harvesting either a grizzly or caribou will be $7500 US which includes GST, payable to Cosco.
There are daily direct flights into Whitehorse from Vancouver, Calgary, and Edmonton. Cosco will pick you up at the Whitehorse airport and will drop you off at the hotel you choose, and then pick you up the next morning for the charter flight. You must contact Neil no later than 14 days of the auction to tell him which hunt you are taking and make the booking. Your choice of rifle, bow or muzzleloader.

1. Although CCSCI encourages donors to list all extra and ancillary expenses not included in the donated hunt, such as travel, service and other items, the list of expenses in auction item descriptions should not be considered exhaustive or definitive, and CCSCI will not be held responsible for their completeness or accuracy. The amounts of additional expenses listed in auction item descriptions are approximations and are subject to change without notice. Bidders should contact relevant donors before bidding for additional and updated information about expenses one can expect to incur in taking a hunt or trip or in using a service or item.

No statement in the CCSCI publications, catalogues or brochures or in the bill of sale or invoice or elsewhere shall be deemed such a warranty, representation or assumption of liability by CCSCI. Any written warranties concerning the items purchased are those solely and expressly supplied by the manufacturer or donor of that item or hunt. Although third parties sometimes provide appraisals with items such as jewelry, CCSCI does not verify or warrant their accuracy or origin. Appraisals are the result of subjective valuations, and estimates of value and quality can vary markedly between competent and reliable appraisers. The provision of an appraisal does not represent a guarantee of value. Furthermore, any written or visual presentation done or offered by third parties does not necessarily reflect the opinion or attitude of CCSCI.
3. After bidding for an item concludes and the auctioneer designates a winning bidder, the designated winner (buyer) must immediately agree to a Buyer's Agreement. For buyers at the auction location, the buyer must sign the Buyer's Agreement and one copy will be given to the buyer. For online buyers, when the buyer clicks "I accept" after reading the Buyer's Agreement, or pays for the item, the buyer is deemed to agree to the Buyer's Agreement. All signatures on Buyer's Agreements, and "I accept" or payment for online purchases, are legal and binding. CCSCI will not recognize changes, additions or deletions to any auction description agreed to by the buyer and donor unless such changes are noted on the Buyer's Agreement and signed by the buyer and an authorized representative of the donor, or in the case of online buyers, noted in an electronic writing exchanged between the buyer and an authorized representative of the donor.
