This is a new item for our 2024 banquet from our friends at Thaba-Tala Safaris in South Africa. This is your chance to chase one of the most iconic of the “Big 5” species in some of the most spectacular landscapes South Africa has to offer. This nerve testing hunt puts you face-to-face with the animal locals call, “The Black Death”. The pursuit of Cape Buffalo is considered one of the most dangerous game species on Earth. Thaba-Tala caters to rifle and archery hunters alike. Win this hunt and prepare for one of the most exciting, heart-pounding hunting experiences of your life.
Location:
Thaba-Tala Safaris is located on a 2,000 acre ranch in the northern part of South Africa in the heart of the Bushveld, close to a small town called Alldays in the Limpopo Province. The ranch backs 60,000 acres of accessible hunting grounds, roughly a 4 hour drive north from the Johannesburg International Airport.
Accommodations:
Hunting in South Africa has never been so beautiful. The Thaba-Tala camp allows hunters to experience a safari complete with modern accommodations and amenities and catering to your every need, including daily laundry service and delicious meals. At the end of the day, you can relax by the outdoor pool, or share the day’s adventures by a star-lit campfire.
Inclusions:
Accommodation, including full board.
Liquor and beverages served in camp (Wine, Beer & Soft Drinks).
Laundry.
Full-time services of an experienced Professional Hunter. Trained staff, trackers and skinners.
Field preparation of trophies. All transport within the hunting areas. All hunting licenses.
Pick up and drop off at the International Airport closest to the area in which you are going to hunt.
VAT Taxes on Day Rates.

No refunds on nights and/or species not taken on any packages.

2. Credit Cards must be used for full or partial payments of auction items. A 3% fee will be charged for any credit card transaction.
3. Failure to complete the payment transaction by TBD, 2024 will result in forfeiture and we will attempt to sell the auction item to the next bidder.
4. All Heritage Tag Forms must be completed and submitted to NDOW within 30 days of auction purchase.
