A fine 19th century steel chamfron in the Maximilian style of 1550. The body finely fluted, showing good age. The ears and orbits with well executed roped borders. Central spike is absent. **Condition is lightly patinated overall. The form is particularly elegant and will compliment any collection of armor.** $1,500-$2,500
