1) An engraving of a waist-up view of Benjamin Franklin in a fur-lined coat over a vest. The engraving is of German origin and has an approximate sight size of 5 3/4" x 3 1/2" and is titled "BENJAMIN FRANKLIN." Below the title are the words "Gesandter der vereinigten Nordamerikanischen Staaten an dem Franzosischen Hofe." and "Gebohren zu Boston d: 17t Jan: 1706. Gestorben zu Philadelphia im April 1790." CONDITION: engraving has no faults. (02-23202/BF). 2) A small engraving of a lower chest-up view of Benjamin Franklin wearing a typical 18th century coat over a vest with a fur cap. The engraving is titled "FRANKLIN." and beneath the image it reads, "Engd. on Steel & Printed at Pe_____m Establishment. Boston." Sight size of the image is approx. 3 1/2" x 2 1/2". CONDITION: engraving has no faults. (02-23205/BF). 3) An interesting hand-colored engraving of a mid-chest-up profile view of Benjamin Franklin in a yellow and green oval frame draped in laurel on a black field. Franklin is depicted in an 18th century blue coat with a white shirt and shoulder-length white hair. Below the oval is an engraving of American Revolutionary War soldiers marching toward British soldiers with a nude female and two cherubs watching. The entire engraving is titled "B. Franklin, L.L.D. F.R.S." and the sight size measures approx. 6 1/2" x 4". Just below the two images reads "Pollard sculp." CONDITION: engraving shows no faults, and colors remain crisp and brilliant.
