No.1: Western L77. 6 7/8" fullered blade. 11 1/4" overall. Blued blade is marked on left ricasso "WESTERN / BOULDER, COLO. / PAT#". Slotted steel crossguard. Full tang w/ leather washer grips. Grips have red & black spaces. Aluminum pommel secured by pins. Leather sheath appears to be replacement. Sandwich stitched construction. Retaining strap is not secured by rivet. Scabbard has steel clip belt attachment. Front of sheath has extension to guard the retaining strap. CONDITION: blade has very light wear w/ several small spots of oxidation. Balance of metal has light wear. Grips have moderate wear & handling marks. No.2: Western G46 Shark Fighting Knife. 8" bright fullered blade. 13" overall. Bright blade is marked on left ricasso "WESTERN / BOULDER, COLO. / PAT#". Straight steel cross guard. Full tang w/ leather washer grips. Black & red spacers. Steel disc pommel w/ 2 rivets. Brown leather sheet stitched & riveted. CONDITION: blade has been cleaned & shows polishing marks & light scratches throughout. Crossguard is loose. Leather grips have handling marks. Sheath has moderate wear & handling marks w/ area of loose stitching. No.3: PAL RH36. 6 1/4" bright fullered blade. 11 1/8" overall. The PAL blade company bought out Remington cutlery in the early 1940s, but kept the Remington marking system. Marked on left ricasso w/ "RH / MADE IN USA / PAL in oval / -36". Straight steel crossguard. Stacked leather washer handle w/ black, red & white spacers. Leather pommel retained by 1 rivet. Stitched construction. Sheath is marked on the front w/ the PAL logo & marked "THE HALLMARK OF FINE CUTLERY". CONDITION: bright blade w/ scattered tiny scratches. Handle has light wear & handling marks. Scabbard has scuffing & handling marks. Stitching is loose at tip. No.4: RH36 Type Knife. Unmarked. Consignor states knife is mfg. by PAL Blade & Tool Co. 6 3/16" fullered blade. 11 3/16" overall. Straight steel crossguard. Leather washer handle w/ red spacers. Aluminum pommel. Unmarked brown leather sheath of stitched & riveted construction. CONDITION: blade retains a large degree of original blue finish w/ light wear. Handle is in very good condition w/ added finish. Sheath has light wear & staining. Stitching is tight. No.5: CATTARAUGUS Commando Knife. 6 1/8" bright fullered blade. 10 5/8" overall. Marked on left ricasso in script "Cattaraugus / 225Q". Steel crossguard. Leather washer handle has shallow grooves & red spacers at the ends. Pommel formed from heavy steel washers. Unmarked brown leather sheath w/ stitched & riveted construction. CONDITION: blade has a high polish w/ scattered small scratches. Balance of metal turning gray. Handle has light wear & handling marks. Crossguard is slightly loose. Sheath has moderate wear & staining throughout. No.6: ROBESON Cutlery. 6 1/8" fullered blade. 10 1/2" overall. Blade is marked on left ricasso "ROBESON / SHUREDGE". Right ricasso marked "U.S.A.". Steel crossguard. Stacked leather washer handle. Disc type pommel. Brown leather sheath of riveted & stitched construction has blanked out name on back, leaving "FRESNO CALIF". CONDITION: knife appears unissued w/ only very light handling marks. Sheath has light wear & staining. Stitching remains tight. (02-23700/RW). NON-GUN. $400-800.
