About the Artist.

From bull riding to artist, Frank’s journey started in 1984 when he rode a bull for the first time. In 1986, He was Rookie of the Year in the Southern Rodeo Association. He qualified for and competed in 3 circuit finals Rodeo in the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association. In 1988, Frank moved to Clovis, CA and continued bullriding and learned to forge iron. Retiring from riding bulls in 1998, Frank focused on his blacksmithing & art.

Nature has always been Frank’s inspiration, mostly animals. His ironwork is a reflection of where Strength + Flame = Art.

His Sculptures and Art pieces are made from steel into designs of imaginative objects. Frank’s work has been featured in 5 Books, German, British, and 4 American Magazines (Western Horseman is one of them). The German Magazine "Hephaestus" included Frank on a "Who is Who" of American Blacksmithing list. Two of his Ironwork pieces were displayed in the "2005 Forging Ahead, Contemporary American Blacksmiths" Exhibit at the Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft in Louisville, KY. Frank’s ironwork has been purchased by actors and several world-champion rodeo cowboys.
