1) WINCHESTER MODEL 62A SLIDE ACTION GALLERY GUN. Cal. 22 Short. S# 379216. Bbl. 23". Model 62A slide action gallery gun mfg. by Winchester in 1957. Left side of the bbl. exhibits markings stipulating Winchester's mfg. information, as well as the model and cal. designations. Left side of the receiver is marked with a large Winchester trademark logo. Metal components have been cleaned at one time, with the mag. tube retaining its original blue finish. Plain wood straight grip buttstock, with sanded and revarnished grooved pump. Front and rear sights are absent. Upper assembly is # "379216", with "334161" marked on the lower assembly. CONDITION: metal components retain traces of their original blue finish, having been previously cleaned, and now exhibiting oxidation and areas of pitting overall. Bright Routledge bore. Wood furniture shows scattered marks and impressions from handling and storage, but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable. (24-4922/MLW). 2) WINCHESTER MODEL 1906 SLIDE ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 22 S, L, LR. S# 427650. Bbl. 20". Model 1906 slide action rifle mfg. by Winchester in 1915. Left side of the bbl. exhibits markings stipulating Winchester's mfg. and patent information, as well as the model and cal. designations. Metal components have been cleaned at one time and are in-the-white. Plain wood straight grip buttstock, with grooved pump. Blade front sight, with V-notch rear sight. Upper and lower assemblies are matching. CONDITION: metal components exhibit a gray patina, with areas of oxidation and pitting present overall. Dark pitted bore, retaining fair rifling throughout. Wood furniture shows scattered marks and impressions from handling and storage, but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable. (24-4924/MLW). BOTH CURIO. $200-400.
