ACTION RIFLES. 1) REMINGTON MODEL 514 SINGLE SHOT BOLT ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 22 S, L, LR. S# 2002556. Bbl. 24". Model 514 single-shot bolt action rifle mfg. by Remington. Top of bbl. is marked with Remington's mfg. and patent information, followed by the Remington trademark logo, as well as the model and cal. designations. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for the bolt body, which is polished in-the-white. One-piece smooth wood pistol grip buttstock with checkered black plastic buttplate. Blade front sight with U-notch rear sight. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory finish, exhibiting some small spots of light wear and thinning, with light surface oxidation present overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting well-defined rifling throughout. Stock exhibits scattered marks and impressions from handling and storage but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable. (24-3850/MLW). 2) MARLIN MODEL 81-DL BOLT ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 22 S, L, LR. NSN. Bbl. 24". Model 81-DL bolt action rifle mfg. by Marlin Firearms Co. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for the bolt and trigger, which exhibit a nickel-plated finish. Plain wood pistol grip buttstock. Buttplate is absent. Black polymer trigger guard. Ramped brass beaded blade front sight. Rear sight dovetail is fitted with a slot blank. Left side of receiver is drilled and tapped for a rear sight assembly, which is not present. CONDITION: metal components retain large amounts of their original factory finishes, exhibiting wear and thinning that shows through to brown patina, with light surface oxidation present overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting well-defined rifling throughout. Stock exhibits some scattered marks from handling and storage but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable. (24-3851/MLW).
