Black leather US embossed M1892 2nd type .38 Colt Holster made between 1896-1902Â Â The same as the first type except that the size of the belt loop was increased to fit over the mills double loop cartridge belt. There were 30,500 second type holsters manufactured in black leather and 13,939 in fair leather color. This one is considered black. **Holster leather has some cracking on the flap mostly and some small chipping in spots but is still pliable. Stitching is tight and embossed US shows well. Overall in very good condition.** $300-$400
