11mm caliber, 33.5" barrel, S/N 1683. Barrel bands, barrel, receiver, bolt face, bolt handle, firing pin, and safety switch all match. Triggerguard screws and buttplate screw marked "4474". Browned finish with full-length stock secured by three spring-retained barrel bands. Blade front sight with folding leaf rear sight, also retains long-range volley sight. Barrel marked with numerous inspector markings and "[crown]/FW", with additional Steyr "OESTERR.WAFFEFB.GES." production markings and 1874 manufacture date. Stock with German markings throughout. **Very good condition overall. Metal parts haven taken on a pewter patination with some scattered light oil-stained oxidation throughout. Stock with scattered handling marks and blemishes to stock. Bore is bright with visible edges to rifling. A good example of this early bolt-action rifle that retains its original single-shot design.** $1,000-$1,500
