SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL WITH HOLSTER. Cal. 7.65mm. S# 594134. Bbl. 3 7/8". Model 300 semi-automatic pistol mfg. in Spain by Astra for the German military during WWII. The top of the slide is marked with the Astra logo towards the muzzle, with Astra's mfg. information marked at the rear. Frame and slide exhibit a blue finish, with the trigger, safety lever, and bbl. being polished in-the-white. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered wood grips. All serialized parts are matching and include the frame, mag. release button, slide catch, slide, as well as on the bbl. MAGS: two 7-rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: brown leather holster with German ink stampings on the interior of the closure flap. CONDITION: excellent, with metal components retaining bountiful amounts of their original factory blue finishes, exhibiting some light edge wear, as well as some scattered spots of light surface oxidation. In-the-white parts, there are some scattered spots of age-related discoloration, but they are otherwise very good overall. Mirror bore, retaining well-defined rifling throughout. Grips are very good to excellent overall. Holster remains malleable, exhibiting some wear, but otherwise remaining sturdy and serviceable. (24-6828/MLW). CURIO. $350-500.
