SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL. Cal. 7.65mm. S# 393276. Bbl. 3 7/8". Model PP semi-automatic pistol mfg. by Walther for the West German police in 1969. The left side of the slide is marked with the Walther banner logo, followed by markings stipulating Walther's mfg. information, as well as the model and cal. designations. Left side of the frame and right side of the slide exhibit a boxed "Nds" proof, indicating issue to the German Niedersachsen Police. Right side of the frame is marked "69", followed by an Ulm Proof House antler, as well as with an Eagle/N commercial nitro proof. Metal components exhibit a lustrous high polish blue finish overall, save for on the chamber, which is polished in-the-white. Frame is mounted with 2-piece aftermarket plain wood grips. Slide features a matte rib, with a fixed blade front sight, and dovetailed square notch rear sight. MAGS: 1 aftermarket 8-rd., with black synthetic grip extension. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: generic black soft case. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some areas of light to mild wear and thinning, as well as some small scattered splotches of losses to the finish. Mirror bore, retaining well defined rifling throughout. Grips are very good overall. (25-1013/MLW). CURIO. $300-500.
