.69 caliber, 42.25" barrel, NSN. Bright finish with walnut stock secured by three spring-retained barrel bands. Brass front sight brazed to rear strap of first barrel band. Iron fittings with sling swivel mounted on a stud forward of triggerguard. Barrel shows "MS", "P", "M" and "1815" date. Flat faceted lockplate with faceted reinforced cock; integral iron pan with fence.  Lockplate shows "US/[eagle]" and "MILLBURY." forward of cock with "1815" date to the rear. Sideplate screws show matching "V" markings. **Very good condition overall. Barrel has an overall dark patination with some salt and pepper pitting towards breech. Some handling marks and blemishes to stock including an old crack around buttplate tang and old sections of missing wood around barrel channel. Very old stable crack around circumference of wrist. Action is tight and functional.** $2,000-$3,000
